Adu Mineral Crystal Art Museum · Crystal Hall of Natural Epic

On the banks of the International Convention and Exhibition Center and Sports Center in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, an art temple that condenses the geological code of the earth for billions of years stands tall - the Adu Mineral Crystal Art Museum, created by Mr. Du Sijian, a senior figure in the mineral crystal collection industry, with decades of effort. As a master's degree holder and senior researcher in mining at East China University of Science and Technology, Director Du has traveled to more than 30 countries around the world with the rigor of a scholar and the enthusiasm of an explorer. He has collected brilliant natural gifts for human civilization in mines hundreds of meters deep and uninhabited geological secrets.

Collection concept

Our approach to curating mineral masterpieces

Decoding the Time Lattice of Earth

The art museum adheres to the core concept of "appreciating the beauty of crystals, understanding the principles of minerals, and comprehending the soul of geology", breaking down the barriers of mineral collection and transforming "home mining" from a vision to a tangible reality.

The collection spans across time and space dimensions: it includes well-known "earth cornerstones" such as the clarity of calcite, the purity of crystals, and the splendor of fluorite, as well as the brilliance of diamonds, the fiery intensity of rubies, the mystery of wheel mines, the rarity of tin mines, and even rare "natural wonders" such as butterfly twin crystals - each crystal is a solidified poem of geological movement, carrying a billion year legend of plate collision, magma quenching, and mineral symbiosis.

Exhibition Hall Layout

The art museum constructs two immersive experience spaces with the ingenious idea of "seeing through the past and present at a glance, and exploring both Chinese and Western cultures in one museum"

International Collection Hall

International Collection Hall: Adopting modern minimalist design, the exquisite forms of minerals are outlined by cold metal and transparent glass. From the tourmalines and aquamarine of the Hindu Kush Mountains in Central Asia to the champagne colored calcite of the Appalachian Mountains in the United States, as well as the emeralds of Wenshan in Yunnan, China and the garnets of Yunxiao in Fujian, each collection is displayed like jewelry, showcasing the exquisite luxury and scientific spirit of international mineral collection.

Oriental Philosophy Hall

Oriental Philosophy Hall: Based on the traditional Chinese aesthetic of stone appreciation, with black cabinets and white walls, the Chinese solid wood base carving art and the natural form of mineral crystals complement each other, reproducing the Chinese elegance of "stone cannot be said to be the most charming"

Historical evolution

Transformation from Original Aspiration to Hall of Fame

Now

Active Textbook

There are over 5000 exquisite mineral specimens in the current collection, covering more than 200 rare mineral species. Among them, the faint blue velvet light of sphalerite, the star shaped structure of zinc garnet, and the layered crystal clusters of sphalerite are the "treasures of the museum". They not only represent the uniqueness of China's mineral resources, but also rank among the world's top mineral collections, becoming a "living textbook" for the geological and collecting circles

Curator

A seeker of light in the mineral world

Adu

Director Du Sijian is a "devout explorer" of mineral crystals. He once climbed over steep mineral veins above the snow line and delved into the oxygen depleted underground forbidden zone, only to encounter the "most precious flower on Earth" - mineral crystals.

In his eyes, every encounter with minerals is a dialogue that transcends time and space. This ultimate pursuit of the beauty of nature has made the Adu Mineral Crystal Art Museum surpass a simple collection institution and become a spiritual landmark that connects scientific exploration and humanistic sentiment

Future vision

Let the treasures of the earth shine forever

Based on the grand vision of "gathering world treasures in one museum with Chinese minerals as the foundation", the Adu Mineral Crystal Art Museum will continue to cultivate the protective collection of rare minerals and build a global mineral resource database.

At the same time, through immersive science popularization exhibitions, mineral themed research, international academic exchanges, and other diverse forms, geological science can step out of the laboratory and awaken the public's reverence and awareness of protecting our home planet. We firmly believe that when humans gaze upon these natural masterpieces spanning billions of years with humility, it is the best annotation of the inheritance of civilization and ecological coexistence.

At Adu Mineral Crystal Gallery, every mineral edge tells the story of Earth’s past, every crystal refraction illuminates humanity’s future. What we preserve here transcends mere minerals—it embodies the eternal dialogue between humanity and nature.

We measure time in crystal lattices, etch eternity in mineral luster. We are not just custodians of geological wonders, but translators of Earth’s ancient memories.
